Wordpress Help | Freelance Webmaster

Hey guys,

Whew, good to be back here. I already forgot the password, but luckily I was able to retrieve it.Big Smile

Anyway, have you ever heard of wordpress? Its a popular blogging tool. Its also a popular CMS for creating websites. You can do a lot of things like adding plugins, etc.

Since its popular and on demand, our company introduced me to wordpress last 2006. I did a self-study since no one (or less people) knows wordpress that time. Its a challenge for me since I need to learn it fast for a new client. The good thing is that I am a fast learner, so I was able to get it in just a week.

As years passed by, I get better and create better wordpress sites. Please see my Freelance Webmaster Portfolio.

I think this is my final post. I migrated to wordpress and I will be updating my new blog which include topics like wordpress help, free webmaster tools, and a lot more..

"Free Hosting Site" Sucks!


Don't you agree? I already tested 2 or 3 free hosting sites and what do they have in common? - do NOT last long! Not only that, you can't access the site 24/7, the "online support" is always oflline, and so on (a lot to mention)... Then comes the worst part. One day the site would just go "Sorry this site is not available!". Whaa-haat?!!. Then you keep coming back, checking and hoping its just a "daily" maintenance. But, Whaa-haat?!!. Nope its all gone. The site just CLOSED!

We'll lucky for me coz i didn't have a lot of post in them (in fact, only one, lol) coz i was a bit busy with work and i didnt have much idea that time on what to add in my site. And before i was a graphics designer, not a blogger (but definitely, I am now. Its my job).Big Smile

Conclusion:
Therefore, If you want to set-up your own site and you can't afford or don't want a hosting site,  I would prefer blogging sites (e.g. blogdrive, blogger, wordpress, vox, etc.). Why? Because..

(no particular order)
1. they last longer, you need not to worry for your files.
2. your URL (your link) would still the same. I mean there's this dot-dot. example: talk2mj.blogdrive.com is equal to talk2mj.othersite.com
3. Site is accessible 24/7.
4. There's a help center or "submit a support ticket" when you have some questions. While others provide a dummy one.
5. You dont have to worry about how to design your site (or blog). You can choose from a variety of templates available.
6. They are Popular. This is good for those who are after of PR(page ranks).

My New Website

Hi everyone,

Its been a long time that i havent done blogging anymore. Well i am a bit busy with work  AND i have a new website. Its still not finished but you can check it out. (click image below:)

The above image is what I have planned to be my new blog. But since I am busy and does not really like blogging, it still has no content on it.
